Textured wall finishing would go well with feature wall, columns and ceiling. It can also be used to replace wall paper as the finishes are unique and there are no two areas finished alike. This type of finishing is more like an artwork but on a larger scale.
You can also do your own decorative finishing by using sponge, rag cloths and etc. which you can research on the internet on Decorative Wall Painting Techniques.
During my visit to HomeDec2010 at KLCC Convention Center, I came across a company called Footprints Fine Arts Sdn Bhd who had various unique textures that was impressive.
